Brazilian Buttlift or Buttocks Augmentation
The Brazilian butt lift is an augmentation of the buttocks through the fat transfer with the patient’s fat from areas such as hips, thighs, flanks and the stomach.
The Brazilian butt lift performed by an expert Brazilian surgeon, this an invasive treatment where a surgeon takes fat from other areas of the body and injects it into the butt. This procedure has become an increasingly popular from 2014, by augmenting your buttocks with your own body fat can look very natural. The treatment also found to be very safe due to low-risk complication because of the little chance for rejection patient own body’s substance.
The results
With Buttock Lift the patients can expect to see a noticeable difference immediately after surgery. The lifted buttocks will settle after 6 weeks but the improvement in the tissues can continue for up to 18 months.
Fat Grafting uses your own fat cells (autologous fat) to enhance your buttocks. Since the fat cells are your own, there is no risk of rejection or adverse reactions. The fat grafted buttocks will feel and behave naturally and there is no risk of implant failure or damage as with Buttock Augmentation with an Implant. Although, 1 or 2 treatments with Fat Grafting may be required to achieve the optimum shape or fullness, the results of Fat Grafting are permanent.
Minimal discomfort is expected following the treatment and no bruising should occur with the careful techniques used. Any mild bruising will usually resolve after 1 to 2 weeks. The treated area(s) may feel tender – moderate discomfort for the first 3 – 5 days. Mild discomfort is expected for 2 weeks.
Fat grafted into the buttocks, provides a long lasting or permanent improvement. However, anywhere from 30 – 40% of the grafted fat may fail to survive, requiring an additional treatment after approximately 3 months in order to achieve the optimum results.

Before leaving, you will be given specific instructions that may include how to care for your buttocks medications to apply or take orally to aid healing and reduce the risk of infection.
You will be instructed to wear a support garment “around the clock” following your surgery. Our surgeon will tell you how long you need to wear the garment.

The procedure
The fat is taken from areas such as the hips, flanks, thighs, and the stomach. That fat is removed with a very gentle liposuction that uses a fine cannula to protect live fat cells. The fat particles are then mixed with your own platelet rich plasma and injected back by droplet into the layers of the buttocks through little incisions on each side.
The procedure is generally performed under local anaesthetic and patients are able to return home in a few hours after the procedure.
